30 nails in 90 days: #14.

Nail style #14: Chinese symbol accents.

BREAKING: I’m not Chinese. Or Asian at all, for that matter. But my friend/co-worker held a Chinese New Year party this weekend, and I decided my nails needed to get in on the action.

After some quick Googling, I came across a symbol and deemed it easy enough to try to recreate, one meaning blessing, good fortune, good luck.

My take.

OPI and Milani nail polish

I painted all of my nails with OPI’s Red My Fortune Cookie (fitting, no?) except my ring finger, which I painted a pretty glittery gold from Milani. Using my Milani nail art polish in black, I free-handed the Chinese symbol.

The result.

Wishing you all good fortune in the new year!
