Nail style #21: Mixed print/floral nails.
Ah, spring. This is another style I’ve loved for ages and finally decided to tackle, with some slight variations.
This look took a few more tools and polishes than usual. After a layer of base coat, I painted my thumb, ring and pointer fingers with Julep Shenae. Then, I painted my pinkies with Julep Simone, and my middle fingers with Essie’s Play Date.
Using a nail art brush, I free-handed the stripes on my pinkies and pointer fingers with Kiss Nail Art Paint in Soft Purple. For the flowers, I used a large dotting tool dipped in Julep Simone to make small blobs, outlined them with the nail art brush and then used a smaller dotting tool dipped in Milani Fresh Teal for the leaves. Then finished everything with a quick-drying top coat.
Oh, how spring makes me happy. Nine styles to go!
